Inspired by the Stargazer lily I have combined a gentle blend of soft white, lilac, orche yellow and light blue.I have used glazes of iridescent copper and gold to lift the painting against it's slate grey background. I have scratched into the painting to create the texture of the petals and reveal colour from the layers of paint.
