In this painting I have concentrated on the very distinctive shape of St. Michaels Mount on a crisp sunny April day.It had just been raining so the sand was wet and when the sun came through the golden light cascaded in a ryhmic sparkle across the ground. To capture the iridescent reflections I have combined a subtle blend of pale blue, sea green, orche yellow and pale gold hue. Finally I have added a touch of sparkle with genuine gold leaf.
