This painting captures the sun coming through after a downpour of rain at Sennen cove, Cornwall. The light is glistening through the clouds revealing the shimmering textured cliffs which I have have highlighted with touches of genuine gold leaf. I have used a subtle blend of turquoise, sea green, pale lilac, orche yellow and pale oat with hints of iridescent gold and pearl white.
