In this painting I have concentrated on the very distinctive light house in the St.Ives harbour. The inspiration for this painting came from my visit to St. Ives in April. On this particular day the light was truly mesmerizing with the swirls of translucent clouds on a bright sunny day reflecting a golden glow on the pale shores. To capture the incandescent light I have combined a subtle blend of pale blue, sea green, and iridescent pale gold hue. Finally I have added a touch of sparkle with genuine gold leaf.
